MAN-WAY COVERS
Features
Our new and improved Man-way Covers and Rims are constructed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) which provides excellent impact properties, especially in cold and warm weather. The newly designed center air breather provides optimum venting performance and are extremely easy to install and remove. The air breather is designed with a tether connection that fastens into the rim, helping to reduce misplacement.
- The Man-way Lids are offered in closed and vented versions depending on the customer’s application.
- We also offer an inactive vent as an option to have the flexibility to convert a vented lid to a ventless lid.
- Private labeling, custom colours, and application specific resin are available on request to meet our customer needs.
- Our Man-ways are certified and meet CSA and NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water.

16″ MAN-WAY WITH 3″ VENT CAP
Features
Apart from the standard catalogue products, AIK has the ability to supply customized products to meet the specific requirements of our customers. This 16” Man-way comes with a 3” NPT (National Pipe Thread) which can incorporate a 3” Vent Cap. The lid comes molded in High Density Polyethylene and the 3” Vent Cap is molded in Polypropylene (PP).
16″ HINGED MAN-WAY
Features
- Locking feature designed to accept Padlocks for tampering prevention.
- Excellent venting performance. Available with two venting options:
• Anti-splash Baffle (standard) or Ball Check Valve - Liquid tight seal for splash resistance.
- One-piece molded construction allows for easy installation, use, and minimizes assembly parts to break, fail or be replaced often.
- Grooved profiled handles for easy turning of lid for opening and closing.
- Closed version also available.

- Approximately 1KG heavier than our competitors.
- Made from Polypropylene Copolymer (PPC) resin with excellent cold weather impact resistance. (Up to -40 °C / -40 °F).
- Excellent U.V. resistance.

18″ QUICK-LOCK LID
Features
The 18” Quick-Lock Lid, also part of the Man-way family, is made from a linear Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), providing a rugged, impact resistant, and secure cover for your plastic storage tanks. It can be used for both vertical and horizontal storage tanks. The lever lock handle assembly provides security for your cover and also allows quick and easy access.
MAN-WAY STRAINER BASKETS (new product)
Offering three sizes: 8”, 12”, and 16” for our filtration baskets. These baskets are made from a high strength Polypropylene (PP) resin, while the trainer mesh is made from Nylon. This combination provides a rugged and durable product. The micron value for the mesh is 900μm.

ENVELOPE GASKETS FOR MAN-WAY COVERS (new product)
Our Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM), Envelope Gaskets are available in five different sizes ranging from 8” to 22”. These gaskets provide a better seal between the rim and lid which prevents leakage from occurring.
